Quick Homemade Pizza Dough

Here is a super easy Thin Crust Whole Wheat Pizza Dough recipe that really doesn’t take any time at all!

This recipe makes 1 standard pizza crust.

What you need:

  • 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour*
  • 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour*
  • 1/2 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Pizza Seasoning (or Italian Seasoning, or really any seasoning you feel like!)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Water

*You can use any combination of this flour as long as you have 1 cup in total.

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F. Combine all your dry ingredients in a medium sized bowl and mix well.

Step 2: Add in your olive oil and the water and mix until your dough comes together. I have to add just barely a little more water at this point to make sure all the flour is incorporated. Kneed for a couple minutes until you can form a ball with the dough.

Step 3: Flour your work surface and roll out your dough very thin and until the size of a standard pizza (12″).

Step 4: Top your pizza with whatever you like! When you are ready, just pop the pizza into the oven for about 10-15 minutes or until the crust is browning on the edge and bottom.

We like to enjoy our pizza with olive oil (instead of sauce), sauteed onions and peppers, chunks of mozzarella string cheese, tomatoes, and Italian and cheddar cheeses sprinkled on top! Enjoy!
